Backstage on the Esplanade may constitute part two of a project known as the <a href="https://strata.ca/toronto/8-the-esplanade-l-tower">L Tower</a>, but it certainly doesn&rsquo;t take a backseat to its neighbour. The result is a contemporary, eco-friendly (LEED certified) building that has been occupied since 2017.Inside, the common spaces &mdash; including the double-height lobby &mdash; were styled by the renowned interior designers at Munge Leung. Bought a unit here a few years ago, it’s rented easily ever since. Our tenants love the quick access to the Financial District and the waterfront. Plus the building has aged well - still looks modern and clean.

The building itself is well designed, but street noise can be an issue depending on which side you’re facing. Amenities are good and the management team is responsive. Solid choice if you want to live right in the core.
