Built in 1985, the building takes over a sizeable portion of Yonge Street. Despite the building&rsquo;s breadth, the symmetrical design gives a distinctly soft impression &mdash; there are very few sharp corners to be found. Instead, the northern and southern sides feature rounded ends, with stunning sets of windows set along the curves.Toward the centre of the Port Condos, the tiered structure showcases a series of private terraces. The design then culminates in a large terrace, nestled above the condo's private entrance. This outdoor common area sits above the ground-level retail businesses, and tucked behind some lush, tall trees.Residents also enjoy access to a spectacular set of amenities. The condo offers access to a 24-hour concierge service, an exercise room with saunas, as well as a exclusive park. Yes, this communal outdoor space can only be called a park since it&rsquo;s so much more than the ubiquitous condominium courtyard. 1177 Yonge&rsquo;s grassy fields feature lush natural landscapes, where there&rsquo;s space to barbecue, eat, and lounge in the sun, plus there&rsquo;s even a tennis court.

At at Summerhill Avenue and Yonge, a prominent corner in the Summerhill neighbourhood, residents can enjoy a vibrant city life in <a href="https://strata.ca/toronto/midtown">midtown Toronto</a>.
